Excellent pix of you time in the Navy. Do you have enough for a book. These would be a good coffee table photo book.

Hey Sean- Great photos. I have some of the very same shots, though much more fuzzy. I remember you - I worked in Flight Deck Ordnance, and I think we used to annoy you guys when we would pop the hatch on the weapons elevator located between the ScrewTops parking and Tilly. We fouled the deck more than once. I was always nervous when you all would retract the CDPs, and we were clowning around the elevator. Anyway, hope life's been good since then, and many thanks for the website!

Sean, Simply amazing! Your photos have taken me back 25 years to one of the highest points of my life, serving aboard the America with VF-102 as an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT) between Oct 89- Apr 92. While Cmdr Snodgrass and your infamous photo of his pass has become a part of history, I still prefer the shots of my Diamondbacks! Just kidding! Love them all! Thanks for making me feel young again! Fair winds and following seas shipmate!

great work. I too find myself defending this photo. I was an EM3 and worked Flight Deck Lighting and Electrical Starter Cables and box. I heard there was an air show practice also and since I was night crew so I was not on duty and went on deck to watch. I arrived just seconds before this fly-by happened!

As a former member of the VF-33 Starfighers (AQ - Flight Deck Troubleshooter) I have spoken up often about this picture and about the fly by. Thanks for sharing all of the other photos on the site as well. Fair Winds and Following Seas

Awesome pics. I was an AE in VF-33 and "Snort" was my skipper. I totally remember that pass by and felt we almost had to duck, he was that close. I worked the flight deck all day as shop troubleshooter. Thx

Thanks for all the memories. Great job! I also would like to see them as a book. I also served on the deck mostly Fly three, and tractor king ABH3 1990 - 1994. Happy holidays shipmate!

I'm so in love with your pictures. My grandfather was a pilot in the Korean War and went down as a test pilot off of the Gulf of Mexico. The love of planes runs in my blood. I try to go to every air show that is close to me. Thank you so much for sharing these awesome pictures. If you have more please share them.

Love this photo. I can't remember the first time I saw it but always sticks out. Did you get it printed at a drugstore type place? What was their reaction? Did you have to field all sorts of questions about this perfect moment?
